Who we are

ETX Connect is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by any school district, city, county or chamber of commerce. School and town names, colors and mascots are used only to identify the communities we cover. Calendars come from those organizations' public websites, so please contact them directly about their events.

Using the boards

ETX Connect is free to watch. Events and weather come from public sources and their original publishers. We don't guarantee they're complete or current, so check with the organizer before you travel. For severe weather, follow official warnings.

Free messages

You can post one free shout-out a day, signed with your own name. Your name appears publicly on the board. Trying to get around the limit, using someone else's name or automating submissions isn't allowed, and we may remove any message.

Community events and Farm to Table

Posting an event or a farm listing is free. Events are reviewed before they appear. Farm listings go up right away, your phone number is shown publicly, and we may remove any listing. Sales are directly between buyer and seller: ETX Connect doesn't inspect or guarantee any product, and sellers are responsible for following food safety and sales laws.

Paid messages and sponsor spots

• A custom message is $10 and runs for one minute on one town's board. You choose a day and time of day, and it airs during that time. If review can't finish before your time passes, you aren't charged.
• A sponsor spot is $20 per town, per day, and runs in that town's ticker from midnight to midnight Central, or from approval if approved the same day.
• All paid content needs approval under our content policy. You're charged only when it's approved, and only for days that haven't passed.
• If a technical problem on our side stops your paid content from running, contact us and we'll re-run it or refund you.
• Approved content can also appear on our YouTube streams and TV apps when they're available.

Your content

You keep the rights to what you submit, and you give ETX Connect permission to display it on its boards, streams and apps for the booked run.

Liability

ETX Connect is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any paid booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.
