Content policy

ETX Connect boards play in homes, lobbies and break rooms across East Texas, and they're watched by all ages. Everything paid goes through a person before it airs.

How review works

Custom messages and sponsor ads are held until a moderator approves them. Your card is authorized at checkout and charged only on approval. If we can't approve it, the hold is released and you pay nothing. We aim to review within one business day. Free shout-outs are chosen from a fixed list, so they don't need review.

Not allowed

• Adult or sexual content, profanity or crude language
• Hate, harassment or threats, or attacks on any person or group
• Naming or shaming private individuals, or sharing someone's personal details
• Political campaign or candidate advertising, or ballot measure advocacy
• Illegal products or services, drugs, tobacco or vaping, weapons, and gambling
• False, misleading or deceptive claims, including medical or financial promises
• Content that uses someone else's name, brand or copyright without permission
• Anything impersonating a government agency, school or emergency alert

Your responsibility

You're responsible for what you submit, including the accuracy of any offer. We may decline or remove content that we believe breaks this policy or harms viewers.
